Where by-products arise
Conversion at source
Our own site photography: large-diameter hardwood logs converted into sawn boards at the mill. Offcuts, slabwood, chips and sawdust arise from this conversion work, which is why by-product availability is quoted per parcel rather than advertised as a standing volume.
